EAN8 Barcode (European Article Numbering)

This is the 8-digit version of the European Article Numbering barcode. The barcode is split into two halves, with four digits encoded in each half. The makeup of the barcode consists of 2-digit Country Code, 5-digit Product Code and 1-Check Digit.

Generating this barcode using the Barcode Generator

Using this Barcode Manually

The EAN8 barcode uses a Parity table to generate the barcode and the computation of the barcode font characters involves certain amount of complexity. It is thus recommended to use the Barcode Generator or Excel Add In to generate the barcodes instead of creating them manually.
